Staff from Mayfair based jeweller, 77 Diamonds, are putting their best foot forward this May as they take on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Dimbleby Cancer Care.
The 12 colleagues are taking on the task of climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden in 24 hours on 6th May having supported the charity for the last three years.
Creative Director David Allen said: “Since 2014 the company has worked closely with Dimbleby Cancer Care, providing items for auction at their events, as well as taking part in their fundraising initiatives like ‘Walk50’ last year in which myself and another member of staff walked 50km through London during the night – the first and last kilometre I even walked in heels!
“Having met several people who the charity have helped we are proud to support such a wonderful cause with this new challenge. We’ll be undertaking lots of events in the lead up to the Three Peaks to try and help us reach our target of £5,000 for Dimbleby Cancer Care and £5,000 for Project Harar, another charity close to our hearts.”
David will be joined by managing director, Tobias Kormind, Abbi Tobin, Renée Mann, Harriet Case, Sophie Lomax, James Beckinsale, Anna Byers, Ira Kormind, Jessica Grummit, Tarun Taylor, Katherine Seaman and Emily Cooper.
Robin Pritchard, Director of Dimbleby Cancer Care added: “David and the 77 Diamonds team have been such valued supporters of the charity’s work over the last three years and this new challenge is their biggest yet. We wish them the best of luck and I am sure they’ll do us proud. We rely solely on public donations to continue our work, and it is this kind of ongoing support that allows us to support more and more people living with cancer.”
