Two-year research partnership with Marie Curie Cancer Care
The 2011-2012 call for bids from the research partnership between Marie Curie Cancer Care and Dimbleby Cancer Care was the last for the time being. Eighteen applications were received for funding for projects on the theme of the nature and needs of unpaid carers – frequently partners, family members or friends – of people nearing the end of their lives. The Advisory Panel has selected five projects for funding. For details of the successful projects, click here.
The three chosen research projects from the 2010-2011 funding round – involving the inclusion of volunteers in end-of-life care – are well under way. To learn more about these projects, click here.
Recipients of grants from the Dimbleby / Marie Curie Research Fund are required to fill out annual updates on their projects. For a copy of the annual update form, please click here.
